2015 Lone Star LeMans OPPO Roundup!!!!

It’s that time of the year ya’ll! The Tudor United Sportscar Championship and FIA WEC is back to the only place worthy enough in the USA. I was thinking we should all roundup and say howdy. Who will be attending Lone Star LeMans this year?

My wife and I will be there as soon as the gates open in the early morning. We’ll have our OPPO t-shirts on (her’s pink and mine black) and yellow C7.R hats. We’ll stop by a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! right outside the Lot P entrance to get some breakfast tacos before hand.

Where should we roundup? Could be in the paddock before the Tudor race. Could be up on Turn 1 during the Tudor pre race ceremonies. Could be after the time between the 2 races at a food stand. Let me know ya’ll :]

I went last year and had a Oppo meetup with ClownShoePilot, Moar Power and some brake, timmaaaay, Nobody, Ricepuddin, RacingManiacGT1.............

I realize almost none of those users are regulars on here anymore and you bunch of young whippersnappers don’t know them

Neat. My brother and I are planning to go. We’re holding out to see if we can’t score PSL tickets on Craigslist again, like last year. Otherwise we’ll just get GA the day before. Probably just go Friday night and Saturday, all day.

Hopefully I’ll have my GTV6 running by then.

welp, as is tradition, I take off from Houston at 3:30am ish Saturday morning and go back home after WEC podium. But i frequent Austin so this invitation isn’t tossed buddy :] Same for you if ever round here

Got my itinerary, I’m scheduled to fly out of Austin at 5:45pm Saturday, and our last race is 8:50 Friday morning. We’ll likely be doing some prep for Road Atlanta there before packing up, but hopefully I get some time at the track to just enjoy things Saturday morning before heading to the airport. Racing mechanics usually don’t actually get to watch much racing.

Last year we managed to buy on Craigslist race-day tickets in the grandstands but I’m not finding any this year. Looks like the only grandstand option is the $99 multi-turn weekend pass? I really can’t go Thursday or Friday and it seems like a waste...
